Unless requested or authorized to do so, we make no disclosures of personal information other than for the purpose of securing insurance coverage or for the reporting and settling of claims. We do not sell or otherwise distribute any client information to any third party which could use such for solicitations or any other type of marketing activity.
Information We Collect
We acquire most of the information we need directly from you, such as that provided on an application for insurance. We may also obtain information from third parties such as the Registry of Motor Vehicles, consumer reporting agencies, employers, insurance companies or other agents. Information collected may relate to driving records, claims history, credit reports, employment history as well as any publicly available information about you.
Information We Disclose
We only disclose personal information we collect about you to our insurance carriers, their inspectors, adjusters and other company personnel with a legitimate or legal basis to have knowledge of this data. With your approval, we will also disclose information to your designated legal representative. We do not disclose any information about our former customers except to the extent permitted or required by law.
Protection of Information
We are in compliance with MA 201 CMR 17:00. Our employees are trained in the protection of personal information and are required to maintain the privacy policies and procedures established by this company. An employee who violates these policies is subject to disciplinary action. Insurance companies and other third parties we must share information with are also required by law to maintain the confidentiality of such.
